I was going...

TO BE BETTER AT THIS! I had planned to update regularly, but so much for that! I'm going to get better at this though, I promise!


Few Updates from the past couple of weeks.


1. Katie, my cousin and best friend, found out she's having a little girl!! YAY! Miss Abigail Anne will be here in only 4 short months.




This picture is from their Gender Reveal Party...the cake was pink! Katie was so sure she was having a girl that I thought she had jinxed herself. But nope! She was right. I guess that's the whole mother's intuition setting in.

Here's the family! Katie had us wear Pink or Blue to vote on what we thought the sex was. I was right as you can see :)

I'm in love already with my niece!! I can't wait until she's here!

2. This Monday will mark the one year anniversary since my Uncle Nick passed away. It's going to be a tough weekend for my family. He died expectantly from a heart attack. He was an amazing man with a huge heart! Our family is extremely close. We see each other all the time! So this loss has been hard on us all. So we've decided to go to the beach as a family to celebrate his life! We'll laugh, cry and sing the Beatles the whole time!

3. Hope you're all enjoying your summer so far! Do something fun, that's just for you! You deserve it!

Miscellany Monday

1. Mondays are the hardest days for me. After having a relaxing, family filled Sunday, Mondays just seem to drag on. It could also be because this is the day when everything is due at work. Always hectic!

2. I kind of love that this blog is a secret from my family and friends. Not that I don't absolutely love them, because I absolutely do! It's just that...I like having a place where I can write all my feelings and they're not here to put their 2 cents in. Hope that doesn't make me a bad person.


3. There's only one piece of jewelry I wear everyday and it's my Let It Be necklace. We made it after my uncle suddenly passed away last year (weird to say last year. It doesn't feel like it was that long ago). He LOVED The Beatles! So this is just a way for all of us to keep a little piece of him close to our hearts.

4. I'm BEYOND excited that I have a 3 day weekend next week! It seriously makes me smile every time I think about it.

5. I can't wait to go see SATC 2...I just hope it's not a let down...please don't be a let down!

Taking this for a spin

Hello Blog World,

I'm new to this, as you can probably see. And while I'm not sure anyone will ever read this, it's fun to think that someone will. I'll give credit to my old high school friend Megan, for me starting this blog. She posted a link to her's on her facebook awhile ago. And ever since then I've been hooked! So, I decided on this very uneventful Wednesday evening to start mine. Now if it was Tuesday, I would definelty not be working on this. See, Tuesdays are my MUST SEE TV nights. Glee, Parenthood and the Good Wife consume all of my night.

Anyways...I guess I'll just be starting here. I look forward to this new hobby of mine and hope to meet some wonderful people!
